Before joining SheKnows, Philippe Guelton served as the president of Thrillist Media Group, a leading men's lifestyle publication, and the operator of, a members-only shopping club.

Previously, Guelton served in several senior roles at Hachette (Lagardère Media), including that of chief executive officer for Northern Asia, where he led the acquisition and integration of Japanese media company Fujingaho, and more recently as executive vice president and chief operating officer of HFMUS, where he oversaw the company’s media properties, including Elle, Elle Décor and Woman’s Day, among others.

During his time at HFMUS, Philippe led the acquisition of digital ad network Jumpstart Automotive Group and the launch of, a premier online fashion and beauty property, in partnership with MSN and Whalerock Industries. He was also instrumental in the sale of HFMUS to Hearst Corporation in June 2011.
