In 2015, at the age of fifty-five, Worsley again set out for Antarctica, attempting the first solo and unaided crossing of the continent—nine hundred nautical miles in the windiest, coldest place on Earth.

Ellie Awards 2018 Finalists Announced
The American Society of Magazine Editors today published the list of finalists for the 2018 National Magazine Awards for Print and Digital Media. For the fifth year, the finalists were first announced in a 90-minute Twittercast. ASME will celebrate the 53rd presentation of the Ellies when each of the 104 finalists is honored at the annual awards lunch.

The American Society of Magazine Editors has announced that the 2018 Ellie Awards Annual Luncheon will be hosted by Don Lemon, anchor of “CNN Tonight With Don Lemon.” The editorial leaders of more than 60 print and digital titles—including magazines published by Condé Nast, Hearst Magazines and Meredith Corporation—are expected to be honored on Tuesday, March 13, at Cipriani Wall Street in New York.

Woman's Day on The Today Show: Live Longer & Stronger Challenge
For the past five years, Woman’s Day magazine has helped fight heart disease among women with their Live Longer & Stronger Challenge and Red Dress Awards. This morning, two of this year’s five challenge participants, Traci Claycomb and Brittney Campbell, joined their nutrition coach Joy Bauer on The Today Show for the final of a four-part series following their journey to transform their heart health over the next few months. The ladies had their final reveal (over 100 lbs. lost combined!), shared their back stories and how their lives have changed, and showed off their red dresses that they’ll be donning at the 15th annual Red Dress Awards tomorrow evening.
