Q&A with Linda Thomas Brooks of MPA
A month away from the 2018 American Magazine Media Conference, MPA's CEO identifies some of the unique opportunities and challenges facing our industry: "Two things are on my mind. First, we need to-together as an industry-continue to explore new ideas and opportunities. Second, but perhaps more importantly, we need to celebrate what is good about our industry. We seem to be really good at beating ourselves up and we need to remember, especially in this age of disruption, our fundamental values to marketers and to consumers."

Samantha Barry comes to Condé Nast from CNN: “Sam is Glamour’s first digital-native editor, which is to say she arrives from the future rather than the past,” Condé Nast artistic director Anna Wintour said.
Maureen Hoch Named New Editor of
Hoch, who had been serving as the acting editor of since August, joined HBR in 2013 after serving as the World Bank’s Global Web Editor. Prior to that, she had been Managing Editor, Digital News, at PBS NewsHour, and World News Editor at The Washington Post Express.

Today, MPA – The Association of Magazine Media released the November 2017 Magazine Media 360° Brand Audience Report showing consumers continue to believe in magazine brands, with nearly 1.9 billion in total audience across platforms. This month’s report incorporates data from the newest GfK MRI Fall 2017 release, showing that Print+Digital audience is steady (-1.7%) compared to November 2016.
