“We like to make money. We think there is money in print and more print, and we like to make money and grow profits in digital. You can’t have one be primary and one be secondary. We have to be good at both. The businesses have some things in common, but also, a lot of things that are not in common with each other. October 2017 Magazine Media 360° Brand Audience Report Data Is Here!
Today, MPA – The Association of Magazine Media released the latest Magazine Media 360° Brand Audience Report. Total Audience for the month of October 2017 is up +5.1% versus a year ago. By platform, we see that Print+Digital maintains the +3.7% year-over-year gains since GfK MRI’s Spring 2017 study was released. Video continues to grow rapidly with a +32.1% increase over last year. Audiences continue to migrate from Web (Desktop/Laptop), which shows a decline of -8.3%, but at a slower pace than recent months. In a significant change from prior months this year, Mobile Web reported an increase of +10.5% versus October 2016.
