Junior Online Producer at has an immediate opening for a full-time junior Online Producer. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Assisting with production of biweekly magazine content, as well as special editorial packages and events.
  • Producing several daily, weekly, and monthly newsletters.
  • Updating and writing display copy for site section pages.
  • Updating tablet homepage.
  • Producing weekly event listings and updating event calendars.
  • Assisting as needed with comment moderation.
  • Fact-checking and updating evergreen service packages.
  • Writing for seasonal service packages (e.g., Valentine's Day Guide) and local listings (stores, bars, etc.).                                             

Candidates should be passionate about editorial projects, able to work well under deadlines, and flexible enough to frequently take on new tasks and challenges. The position reports to the Assistant Managing Editor.


  • 1-2 years experience in web editorial.
  • Strong editorial judgment, writing skills, and sense for packaging content.
  • A copy editor's eye for style and formatting errors.
  • Familiarity with content management systems, Dreamweaver, and HTML fundamentals.
