The Economist

Alexandra Suich is The Economist’s U.S. technology editor. Previously, she served as the magazine’s media editor, based in London and New York, where she wrote about the television, film, newspaper, music and marketing businesses worldwide. Her feature stories on media include a special report about marketing and technology, “Little Brother,” and an essay on the future of books, “From Papyrus to Pixels.” Suich has also served as The Economist’s finance correspondent and has written about hedge funds, private equity and insurance. She started writing for The Economist in 2008, and has also published articles with Newsweek International, Slate, The Chronicle of Higher Education and the Nation. In 2013, the Wincott Foundation named Suich Britain’s Young Financial Journalist of the Year.
