Voting Begins Today for the American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME)
Best Cover Contest Readers’ Choice Award

New York, NY (January 13, 2014) - From glossy supermodels to political pundits and everything in between, magazine media offered many thought-provoking covers during 2013. Beginning Monday, January 13, 2014, readers will have an opportunity to decide their favorite via Facebook.


The Readers’ Choice Award will feature all entries from the ASME Best Cover Contest, which will be posted on Facebook at www.facebook.com/ASME1963, beginning today. A new category of covers will be posted every week from January 13 to March 17. The ten entries that receive the most “likes” will be posted for two weeks at the end of the contest, from March 31 to April 13.


The most “liked” of the final ten covers will receive the ASME Best Cover Contest Readers’ Choice Award. The winner will be announced at the ASME Annual Meeting on April 30, 2014, and be presented with an award that includes a reproduction of the winning cover.

Science, Technology and Nature -- January 27
Sports and Adventure -- February 3
Women’s Service -- February 10
Fashion and Beauty -- February 17
Lifestyle -- February 24
Brainiest -- March 3
Most Delicious -- March 10
Sexiest -- March 17
